Performs a wide variety of law enforcement activities including the protection of life and property, the apprehension of offenders and providing community-based problem solving services. - Associates Degree or equivalent (60 credit hours) from an accredited college/university OR an Honorably Discharged Veteran or current member of a Reserve component of the U.S. Military or Florida National Guard, OR two years Certified law enforcement experience as a police officer.
- Minimum age of 19 (Birth Certificate)
- Copy of FDLE Certification
- Passing Physical agility test at Broward College IPS (BMST), valid for 6 months
- Passing swim test, valid for life
- Original Driver's License
- High school Diploma
