The City of LaFayette is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Police Chief. The Police Chief is responsible for the day to day activities of the City of LaFayette's Police Department. The successful candidate must possess his or her Alabama Peace Officers Standards & Training Commission (APOSTC) Certification and have experience directing a police department.
The person selected must pass a background check, physical examination, substance abuse test, and undergo a psychological examination with results approved by the Committee on Character and Psychological Evaluation Review.
