Kforce has a client that is seeking a PMO Officer in Avondale, LA. This role is 100% On-Site. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to join our team and play a critical role in the successful execution of a major project through 2026. This position offers the potential to extend into a full-time role. As a PMO, you will work in close partnership with the Project Manager (PM) to ensure our project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets all quality standards. You will leverage your expertise in Project Management Institute (PMI) concepts and industry best practices to control and optimize project aspects like schedule, cost, risk, and document control. Responsibilities:
PMO Officer will partner with the Project Manager to guide the project lifecycle, focusing on control and adherence to PMI methodology in areas of integration, scope, time/schedule, cost, quality, risk, communication, resources, procurement, and stakeholders
Implement and manage the use of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) on the current project
Utilize your proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, and Excel to generate reports, track progress, and analyze project data
Facilitate and manage project meetings from a control perspective, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed and action items are documented
Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies
As a PMO Officer, you will oversee document control processes and ensure all project documents are properly versioned, stored, and accessible
Track and monitor project costs and budget adherence
Provide support and guidance to the Project Manager on project methodology and responsibilities (excluding formal project management training)
Requirements
PMP certification required
7-10 years of experience in project management
Proven experience utilizing project management tools like MS Project, Primavera, or similar
Experience implementing Stage-Gate (SG) processes for project approval and management
Strong understanding of PMI concepts and best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI, and familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) a plus
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
