The Role

Morningstar's Enterprise Partnerships group is seeking a Platform Partnerships Specialist to join our team in Chicago. This new hire will play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth across our partnerships. You will leverage various contact methods to become the first point of contact for many of our new financial advisor introductions to partners; qualifying prospects and generating new opportunities for our partners. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is intellectually curious, and can thrive under the pressure of quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Drive our independent advisor sales engine by qualifying prospects and generating opportunities to support the sales teams.
  • Social media outreach to engage advisors
  • Cold calling both warm and cold leads to generate the pipeline necessary for our commercial leader's success.
  • Work efficiently to exceed meeting quotas, while diligently documenting client communications and profiling information in CRM to expedite business acquisition.
  • Utilize a creative and investigative approach to identify new prospects, crafting tailored outreach frameworks based on their role and market segment.
  • Act as a persuasive consultant, showcasing the value of our data and software to meet prospective client needs.
  • Work closely with success, sales, product, and marketing teams.
