An international textile trim manufacturer & distributor is looking for someone to join our operations and management team and help us develop, document, communicate, initiate, manage, problem solve, persistently carry out and improve clear policies, procedures, goals and prioritized strategies for the best, most efficient and effective use of production and distribution employees, equipment, and materials in order to provide the best service and value in the industry.
Specific Responsibilities Include
Maintain, supervise and assist the production and distribution teams
Develop and maintain clear job descriptions & specific process documents
Use best methods to interview, hire, train, test & develop employees
Work with supervisors to plan, assign, and direct work
Monitor, record & evaluate performance
Encourage, advise and train supervisors
Learn to use the ERP software to the fullest departmental benefit
Coordinate inventory checks
Approve and coordinate department purchases
Help coordinate and assist with quality control and maintenance efforts to keep all facilities operating efficiently.
Identify and help direct continuous improvement opportunities and efforts with a focus on our service, productivity and/or profit.
Qualifications - Equivalent combination of college level education and/or 5+ years of related work experience and/or training.

Helpful would be - Knowledge of and/or experience working in fabric and/or textile trim production
