Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Manager to join our dynamic team in the energy industry. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our state-of-the-art processing plant. This is a permanent position that offers excellent growth opportunities and the chance to make a real impact in the energy sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of the processing plant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Oversee the biological and chemical processes involved in the production of energy, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, including process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and quality control measures.
  • Lead a team of skilled technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high productivity and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities, troubleshoot operational issues, and optimize plant uptime.
  • Monitor and analyze plant performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including permits, licenses, and safety protocols.
  • Develop and manage the plant budget, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, promoting a positive work environment and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices, and implement relevant changes to enhance plant operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a processing plant environment, preferably in the energy industry.
  • Proven experience in managing and overseeing biological and chemical processes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics, and implement strategies for process improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
