DSJ Global is currently partnered with an industry leading automotive manufacturing company. They are seeking a Plant Manager to join their growing team. The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of vehicle assembly, ensuring that production goals are met safely and efficiently. The Plant Manager will also direct continuous improvement activities. A qualified candidate will exhibit strong leadership and analytical skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Directly responsible for providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, guidance and training to the Manufacturing team as needed.
Supervise and coordinate manufacturing operations to meet established production schedules
Ensure delivery targets are met or exceeded with adherence to plant quality, scrap, inventory and shipping cost objectives
Ensure all people and customer requirements are maintained to the highest standard.
Establish annual budget and resource plan for the manufacturing operations.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
Essential Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing
Demonstrated use of Lean Principles to solve problems
Supervisory experience including leading cross-functional teams
