Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Plant Manager to join our team in New Prague, MN. The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while leading a dedicated team to achieve production goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, including production scheduling, quality control, and maintenance.
  • Lead and develop a team of supervisors, technicians, and production staff to ensure a cohesive and motivated workforce.
  • Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, promoting a culture of safety awareness and adherence.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and manage the manufacturing plant budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource utilization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a manufacturing leadership role, with a strong track record of operational success.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
