Role Overview
As a Planning Analyst on our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain for our diverse product lines. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Logistics, and Procurement, you'll ensure seamless coordination from product planning to delivery. Your responsibilities will include supply forecasting, inventory management, and participating in strategic planning meetings to align production with demand.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain long-term supply forecasts, integrating input from Sales and Marketing.
Coordinate new product launches and changes to customer applications, ensuring timely product availability.
Participate in monthly supply planning meetings to align forecasts with operational plans.
Collaborate with Procurement to optimize inventory strategies and manage raw material supply.
Provide accurate available-to-promise (ATP) information to ensure exceptional customer service.
Utilize MRP systems to drive planning and production scheduling activities.
Identify and implement opportunities for supply chain optimization and cost reduction.
Analyze and communicate the financial impacts of planning decisions on business performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2-3 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling.
Proficiency in software tools such as SAP, INFOR, or similar demand planning systems preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with PC applications including Excel, Access, and Word.
Experience with MIS/MRP systems and inventory management is advantageous. APICS certification would be a plus.
