Job Summary

As a Regional Operations Planning Analyst, you will have a keen focus on operational staff planning. You will play a crucial part in transforming business requirements into tangible insights using analytics and reporting techniques. You will have the opportunity to showcase your ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, and demonstrate a combination of technical expertise and strategic thinking.


This role is remote but may require some travel from time to time with notice. On office days you will be required to work from our Tomball, Texas Distribution Facility outside of Houston and will be given advance notice.

What you will do

  • Utilize predictive analytics and data visualization tools and techniques to translate business needs into actionable insights
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Work with the Regional Director, Operations Planning, stakeholders, and facility leaders to gather information to help analyze business problems and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports
  • Create ad hoc reports for management as needed
  • Utilize Excel and PowerPoint to effectively present information and provide recommendations that empower leadership to make informed decisions.
  • Work independently to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Influence stakeholders by presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance your skillset



Who you are

  • Leverage your technical expertise and strategic thinking to drive operational staff planning initiatives.
  • Have a business degree or a minimum of 2 years related experience with an emphasis on data analytics, data science, statistics, finance or related disciplines.
  • Have a solid proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential for success.
  • Experience in-depth data analysis.
  • Enjoy collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL or Python.
  • Experience with operational staff planning concepts and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to leverage technical expertise for impactful decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.



Essential Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods (at least two consecutive hours) of standing/walking around the store or department.
  • Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment.
  • Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, and color vision.
  • Lifting and moving items weighing up to 20 lbs.
