Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
Operate various tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, iron worker, and hand tools.
Assemble fabricated parts using various techniques.
Read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Previous experience in fabrication and welding.
Proficient in the use of hand tools.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of different welding techniques including stick welding.
Familiarity with operating overhead cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus.
Drug test, background check and a clean driving record are pre-employment requirements.
Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction); use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully; lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; stand for long periods of time.
