We are currently seeking an experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for Hawker 800XPs. We consider the flight crew part of the Jet The World Management family and are committed to nurturing their continued success in our flight operations. The candidate does not need to relocate or be within a specific Homebase as our aircraft operates on a floating model.

Position Summary:

The Pilot in Command (PIC) ensures the aircraft is operated safely and efficiently. The PIC complies with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering the world-class service and experience Jet The World Management is known for. Duties will include FAR Part 135 operations as part of a two-personnel crew. The PIC located in Orlando, FL, is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and delegate other relevant tasks to ensure smooth flight operations, including documentation, airworthiness, fuel management, performance calculations, briefings, weather analysis, flight planning, training, and general aircraft operations.
• Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), coordinates with personnel as needed, and continuously collaborates on flight manuals to meet the regulatory needs of the FAA and other governing authorities. 
• Completes all pre and post-flight tasks, including the maintenance status of the aircraft and its discrepancies, to ensure the aircraft is operating efficiently and safely. 
• Work proactively with flight operations to meet scheduling and client needs.
• Foster a safe operating environment in compliance with FAA regulations and Jet The World Management policies and values.
• Exhibit world-class professionalism and customer service as a vital representative of the company, especially to special needs of passengers. 
• Help build a positive work environment with effective communication and inclusive teamwork.

Basic Requirements & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is strongly preferred. 
• FAA Type Rating in the applicable fleet (Hawker 800XP experience). 
• Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and U.S. Passport. 
• No history of accidents or incidents. 
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. 

Specific Skills:

• Proficient knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and verbal communication. 
• Proficient knowledge of flight operations workflow - including platforms like JetInsight, ForeFlight, and Outlook. 
• Strong administrative skills.
• Extensive knowledge of FARs, SOPs, and best practices, particularly in Part 135 operations.
• Physical ability to endure expected working conditions during flight operations.
• Possess quick decision-making and strong leadership skills.
