Physician Liaison

Works with physicians and hospital leaders to communicate about key programs and services while reporting issues that arise from the targeted physicians or their office personnel.

The right person will develop strategies and special projects/activities to achieve pre-determined goals as necessary to increase hospital volumes and revenues.

They will work with clinical departments to assist in achieving consistent communication of results, scheduling and clinical services including patient prep, exam protocols and patient care issues to the referring physicians.

There will be daily in-person marketing contacts to referring physicians / office staff to assess needs and identify those needs that can be met by the hospital.

The liaison will participate on hospital committees or task forces as needed to address operational issues that impact physicians and/or their office practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum: BSN degree Preferred or BS Degree in Marketing or Business Desired or equivalent in experience
• Thorough knowledge of hospital services/operations and new developments in the healthcare industry, especially those affecting community and business interests.
• Strong leadership and communication techniques
• Sales and/or marketing background highly preferred
  
  

Salary Range: $25.00 – $38.46
