Physician Editor

Must-haves:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Licensed Physician w/ a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Experience working in General Internal Medicine field
• Experience with Medical Writing & Editing – Clinical Overviews, Clinical Guidelines, Publishing Medical Literature
• Expertise w/ Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Willingness to use & learn a Content Management System (CMS)

Day-to-Day:

One of our largest clients in the health data analytics realm is looking for a Licensed Physician to join their team. This person will be a part of their product team that supports patients at the point of care. This person is responsible for coordinating with 21 pharmacist editors, 6 physician editors, and 10 copy editors who are creating & curating medical content held in two of their proprietary CMS tools. On a daily basis, you will check the assignment list from each of the CMS tools to understand what your focus will be for that day. These technical writing responsibilities could include: interpretation, critical appraisal and synthesizing of the medical literature and clinical guidelines related to evidence-based medicine. This role requires someone with experience working in a clinical environment as a Physician as they will be working with similar content & data daily. The role requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate teams working in different time zones, but core hours will be EST.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Our client has approved budget for $75-95/hr.
