Physical Therapist

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities to improve their mobility, function, and quality of life. You will develop personalized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and educate patients and their families on maintaining health and preventing injury.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with advancements in physical therapy.
  
  

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• 2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
