Job Title: Physical Security Technician
Location: Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument (SAPU), New Mexico

Location: Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument (SAPU), New Mexico
Duties:
- Assist in the physical security assessments of NPS facilities, including visitor centers, museums, and housing areas
- Install and test new security equipment and systems as recommended
- Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to document conditions affecting security and risk
- Support the preparation of detailed reports, including photographs and documentation of findings
- Experience in maintaining and installing physical security systems
- Knowledge of electronic alarm systems, access management, detectors, and panic devices
- Ability to work collaboratively with park management and staff
- Familiarity with security standards and policies relevant to cultural institutions
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Assist in the development of security training and awareness programs
