The Role

At CoStar Group, the Photography Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting our residential photographers that capture media for the Homes.com and Apartments.com products. Reporting to the Director of Operations, we are looking for an Operations Manager who will lead and inspire a team of world class photography coordinator and dispatchers. This individual’s mandate will be to ensure timely delivery of residential media on the Homes.com and Apartments.com platforms. They will need to bring a strong operational mindset and leadership to the position. This role will be based out of our Richmond, VA office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of photography coordinator and dispatchers with a strong operational mindset to ensure individual metrics and quality standards are being met.
  • Recruit, coach and develop photography coordinator and dispatchers that are responsible for booking and scheduling client photo shoots, to drive success.
  • Create and lead on-boarding and training programs that focus on driving integration of new team members and the on-going development of associates.
  • Ensure operational metrics are being met by teams and provide feedback to the team.
  • Strategize to overcome operational challenges and provide on-going and real time feedback to team members.
  • Create a team whose culture is hyper focused on excellent client services and efficiency for our photography team.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of workflows and processes to drive optimization and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Photography, Product, Research, and IT departments to deliver the most accurate data possible on behalf of our customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College. Master's degree preferred.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams (10) against deadlines and deliverables.
  • Experienced at building teams and operational metrics.
  • Proven track record driving accountability with individual contributors in a metric driven organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in fast paced environment with high creative and delivery standards.
  • Able to communicate effectively with software engineers to build systems to maximize efficient workloads.
  • Ability to collaborate across functional areas to deliver assignments, including sales, customer service and IT.
