Location: Arizona Cardinals (Tempe, AZ) and all home games at State Farm Stadium (Glendale, AZ)

Summary

The Photography Assistant works with the Team Photographer to capture club events, team activities and special projects as well as editing, organizing and archiving photos on the internal database.

Primary Job Duties

The Assistant, Photography, will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, to the following:

• Photograph community, corporate and other special events.
• Follow internal digital asset management workflows to help edit and improve the Photoshelter database.
• Curate and build photo galleries on team website.
• Edit photos and add proper metadata for all games, events and projects.
• Assist with planning, setup and execution of photoshoots using studio lighting.
• Assist with fulfilling internal and external photo requests.
• Collaborate with the social, digital and content teams on gameday photography.
• Provide additional photography for all team practices and home games.
• Remotely edit and caption away game photography.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education: Current/rising senior or graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in photography, photojournalism or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience: Prior experience with photographing sports in a fast-paced environment, preferably football
• Proficient in Adobe photo editing programs like Photoshop and Camera Raw.
• Experience adding metadata and making IPTC templates in Photo Mechanic.
• Knowledge of FTP and in-game workflow using Photoshelter.
• Ability to navigate and organize a photo archive system.
• Strong understanding of social media and how to capture engaging content for specific platforms.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment and in media work zones.
• Ability to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, especially around NFL tentpole events and during the NFL season (August - January); hours may vary depending on business needs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly self-motivated with a shared commitment to excellence.
• Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
