Photo Retoucher

Are you looking for your next career move? We are currently looking for a Photo Retoucher to join the Mittera family where ideas are valued and internal mobility is promoted! This position works with a broad team of creatives, photographers, designers, clients, production personnel, and others to create innovative, high-quality, on-brand, and beautiful/aesthetically pleasing images for client advertising across multiple media platforms. Candidates must have experience in image editing and compositing of commercial photography, product photography, image compositions, and color management in multiple color spaces. Creativity and attention to detail are paramount.

Responsibilities

The Photo Retoucher will prepare digital files including paths, alignment, cleaning, retouching, composition work (combining design concepts into realistic photographic renderings), color corrections, and production of final client files (including hi-res and lo-res files). Additional responsibilities include:

• Review creative briefs and/or markups to understand specifications, scope of the assignment and work closely with the art team to bring the concept to completion
• Constantly improve image quality using various editing methods
• Archive photographic images and maintain database
• Maintain quality and brand standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Concentration)
• Strong production portfolio with before and after examples
• Proven ability to utilize pen tool, layer masks and transparency
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and problem-solve under tight deadlines
• Must have a strong conceptual ability
• Ability to accept criticism and adapt or modify as needed
• Detail-oriented and focused on continual process improvement
• Must have a strong desire to learn, and to share knowledge and discoveries
• Ability to work independently, with minimal oversight
• Photography and understanding of lighting a plus
• Must provide portfolio to be considered
