About The Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an on call Photo Producer to join our Advertising Production team starting immediately. Primary responsibilities include partnering with other Producers to manage production of internal Editorial photography and external production partners. Key accountabilities include assisting in the planning and scheduling of production projects and then delivering high quality editorial assets across all brands. The ideal candidate will be ready to build upon established strong relationships with the rest of Advertising Production, Creative, Brand, Marketing Systems, Ecommerce, and Merchandise teams, and support the needs of an internal team of Producers, Stylists and various on-call staff.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

• Partners closely with internal Production, Creative and Brand teams to execute against Photo or Video Production strategy
• Partners with Production to manage expenses against the budget in alignment with changing needs
• Supports internal Production in building budgets, sourcing and hiring crew
• Creates and manage shotlists
• Manages milestones for photo and video production working with internal and external partners or vendors on timelines and reviews, delivery of final assets
• Prioritizes based on capacity, deadlines and competing priorities and co-manages a calendar of all editorial work with Manager Adv Production
• Is an excellent communicator with the ability to align cross-functional teams and external vendors against business goals and timelines
• Proactively identifies opportunities to improve tools, systems and processes while collaborating with appropriate partners to drive innovation and improvement
  
  

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

• Ability to produce a full photo shoot - studio and location
• 5 years of production and post-production for brands, with art buying, vendor management, and budget responsibility
• B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience
• Highly organized and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
• Proven track record of success while working on a production team or photo studio team and extensive knowledge of creative process, photography and retouching process
• Excellent communication skills with ability to interact & articulate support of creative goals and further creative vision, ability to negotiate contracts, create vendor compliance and coordinate multi-vendor activity
• Works well under pressure and thrives in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
• Problem-solves quickly and effortlessly for a variety of requests and timelines
• Manages day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of production challenges
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Individual should have intellectual curiosity, be self-motivated and seek opportunities for personal growth
• Retail industry experience in men’s apparel/fashion or related field
• Proficiency with DAM systems, Filemaker Pro, Capture One and other related image capture and management tools
• Familiarity with California labor codes associated with production
• Hands on experience working in a Mac environment

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

• Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
• Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
• On call needs, as work dictates, from Berkeley California and then from Dublin California location.

$70.00 - $90.00. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
