JOB TITLE: Photo Art Director

LOCATION: Hybrid onsite in downtown Chicago, IL

ROLE TYPE/DURATION: 3+ month contract starting ASAP, strong potential to convert to full-time. 20-30 hours/week to start, will likely increase to 40 hours/week

COMPENSATION: $35/hr-$45/hr, commensurate with experience

IMPORTANT NOTE: A background check and drug screen are required for this position

JOB SUMMARY: Seeking a Lead Photo Art Director to serve as the creative liaison between creative services and branding teams. Responsible for translating brand vision and strategy during photo shoots into innovate campaigns.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, educating them on photo shoot production aspects, and create compelling presentations to communicate the vision and strategy
• Develop comprehensive shot lists aligned with brand requirements and channel needs under the guidance of the Creative Director and Senior Art Director
• Manage and oversee various photo shoot elements including model selection, wardrobe direction, prop procurement, on-set guidance, and final approval to maintain high-quality visual standards
  
  

WHAT’S REQUIRED TO APPLY:

• 3-5+ years of experience in art direction
• Expert knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Experience adapting to and implementing a photography style, shot list development, casting, and making selects
• Experience managing and leading large-scale design and creative projects
