Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician with prior authorization experience to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a background in high-volume call centers within healthcare, social services, or similar service positions, and possess excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
Handle prior authorization requests and related activities.
Provide exceptional customer service through phone and email interactions.
Coordinate activities and provide administrative support as a pharmacy technician.
Utilize advanced computer skills for word processing and spreadsheet tasks.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume call center within healthcare, social services, or a similar service position.
At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function.
Prior authorization experience is required.
Advanced computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
