Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Remote: PST preferred (Look for PST candidates )
Duration: 6-12 Months
Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support member telephonic support of Part D Stars through outreach inbound, outbound, through dialers, and in response to mailers, emails, etc.
Make calls to members, providers, and pharmacies that are currently non-adherent or are approaching medication non-adherence. Refill reminder calls to certain members monthly, when necessary.
Make calls to members eligible for medication therapy management (MTM) services and schedule appointments or warm transfer to vendor or pharmacist
Send provider faxes across Part D Stars programs including adherence, Statin use in Persons with Diabetes (SUPD), and MTM
Research bad, invalid, wrong phone numbers and addresses for health plan members
Support member outreach to impact Part D Stars
Track and trend call volumes and outcomes of interventions provided.
Other Duties And Responsibilities As Assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Three (3) Years' Experience In The Pharmacy Industry Preferred
Successful completion of a Certified Pharmacy Technician Couse and certification exam (state or national) is required
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license nationally or in any US state is preferred
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Genesys telephonic system
Knowledge and experience of Medicare Part D Stars
Strong writing and verbal communication skills
Proficient in simplifying complex clinical information into tactical solutions that reduce pharmacy costs and promote quality measures.
Comfortable following timeline driven workplans and managing multiple projects.
Strong operational mindset and ability to use data to draw insights.
Must thrive in collaborative environments
Additional Notes
The majority of work responsibilities are performed carrying out detailed work sitting at a desk/table and working on the computer. Must have a working environment. This is a virtual position, calls are recorded, and individuals need to have a room with a closed door where they can complete tasks uninterrupted.
