Pharmacy Manager

As the Pharmacy Manager you will report directly to the Director Pharmacy and you will be responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and managing a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. You will play a critical role in maintaining efficient and effective pharmacy services, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will lead a team of 15+ FTEs and your leadership will be key in driving the success of the pharmacy department and contributing to the overall excellence of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
• Implement and maintain best practices in pharmacy services.
• Manage and mentor a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Develop and monitor pharmacy budgets and financial performance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Minimum of three years of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Proven management and leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
• Completion of PGY-1 residency program
