Our work depends on Pharmaceutical Consultant joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services through policy research and analysis to provide affordable, compliant, and safe prescription drugs. The position will lead a multi-disciplinary team focused on support provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act including Drug Price Negotiations and Inflation Rebates.

How a Pharmacist Will Make An Impact
- Delivers comprehensive pharmaceutical services to support the mission of CMS to provide affordable, safe and compliant healthcare services to the Medicare and Medicaid populations
- Work with a team dedicated to the mission of using data insights to identify outliers or trends to improve healthcare delivery
- Provide expertise to team and customer based upon findings and complex analyses.
- Doctorate of Pharmacy
- 5+ years of related experience conducting policy research of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills including analyzing data for trends and outliers
- Ability to work independently and with a team to solve complex problems; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance administration of prescription drug coverage
