  • Location: Hines, Illinois
  • Position Type: Full-time, First Shift (6:30 AM through 3:00 PM)
  • Qualifications:
    • Licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
    • Graduate of an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education accredited school or university
    • Licensed for controlled substances
  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide pharmaceutical verification of prescription orders, including legend, OTC, Medical Surgical (Med/Surg), and Controlled Substances
    • Assess drug orders and cross-match with medications at checking stations
    • Pre-verify medications loaded into specialized mechanical apparatus for dispensing
    • Verify and fill controlled substance orders (schedules III, IV, and V)
    • Perform Quality Assurance functions and supervise Pharmacy Technicians
    • Dispense medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines for controlled substances
