Role Overview
As a Senior Sourcing and Procurement Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract negotiations across our enterprise. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S., tackling challenging responsibilities that drive our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute innovative category management strategies tailored to our pharmaceutical needs.
Supplier Relations: Lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier partnerships, and conduct financial analyses to optimize outcomes.
Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Advise and influence internal partners on effective sourcing strategies to maximize leverage and achieve business objectives.
Performance Optimization: Drive cost reduction initiatives and support supplier performance reviews to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Over 5 years in healthcare operations or clinical environments, with significant exposure to pharmaceutical sourcing and procurement.
Skills: Proven expertise in end-to-end contracting, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively consult with senior-level stakeholders.
Analytical Ability: Comfortable with data-driven decision-making and problem-solving in ambiguous situations.
Organization: Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Tools: Familiarity with procurement tools such as Ariba or PeopleSoft, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis.
Contract Management: Experience in contract drafting, development, and negotiation.
