Personal Banker

We are partnering with one of the fastest growing financial institutions in California to find an experienced Personal Banker for their Santa Monica & Westwood locations. This position offers room for growth and advancement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Open new consumer and complex business accounts with efficiency and accuracy.
• Process all new account transactions and handle account maintenance and closures.
• Actively cross-sell the bank's products and services to meet sales goals.
• Provide branch clerical support and maintain good client relations.
• Refer clients to appropriate staff and partners for new services.
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of banking teller experience required.
• Advanced experience in opening consumer and complex business accounts.
• Strong customer relations skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of basic banking regulations and information security.

Essential Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive customer interviews to recommend suitable banking products and services.
• Actively cross-sell bank products to new and existing customers.
• Generate new business opportunities to meet branch goals.
• Collaborate with other business lines to identify sales opportunities and enhance customer experience.
• Open and support various types of accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and Trust & Estate Accounts.
