We are seeking a Performance Marketing Director to join the Jobs Vertical of our Marketing team at BOLD, where they will lead the marketing strategy. This role involves coordinating efforts across multiple channels, focusing on high ROI initiatives and embodying our motto of "Insight-based Strategy, Results-backed Performance." The ideal candidate will be accountable for key metrics such as Conversion Rates (CVR), Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), and subscription growth. Reporting directly to the SVP, Marketing, this role requires close collaboration with both internal and external teams, including delivery and agency partners.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As Performance Marketing Director at BOLD, your focus is on the Jobs vertical with the following responsibilities:

  • Overall Marketing Strategy and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the Jobs vertical, ensuring alignment with BOLD’s overall business objectives. Lead direct and indirect program management, ensuring strong performance results across all channels including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social, and affiliate partnerships.
  • Marketing Leadership: Serve as the primary owner of marketing for the jobs vertical. Understand the role of Performance Marketing in the overall P&L and play a strategic role in driving profitable growth for the pillar. Serve as the primary marketing representative in cross-functional communications, aligning on strategy, planning, status updates, metrics, and results.
  • Cross-Channel Communication: Play a leadership role across channels, ensuring effective execution of a jobs-focused marketing strategy, while fostering collaboration with channel experts to support their success. Represent channel partners to influence investment decisions, and effectively communicate and collaborate across all marketing channels and internal teams to drive cohesive, integrated marketing efforts.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage data and analytics to continuously test, optimize, and improve marketing campaigns, focusing on high ROI initiatives and efficient customer acquisition.
  • Testing and Optimization: Continuously test, optimize, and improve marketing campaigns to maximize ROI and efficiency.
  • Affiliate and Partnerships: Manage partnerships with job sites and advertising referrals, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in marketing or related disciplines are a plus.
  • 7-10+ years in digital marketing, performance marketing, or growth marketing roles, with 3-5+ years in Marketing Account leadership or Campaign Management positions.
  • Proven experience in driving B2C subscription-based business models, particularly in the jobs market or a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, multi-channel performance marketing campaigns with a focus on subscription growth and retention.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs such as Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), subscription conversion rates, and retention rates.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, affiliate marketing, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels for B2C subscription models.
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, including budget management and ROI analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics, identify growth levers, and prioritize marketing investments for maximum impact.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Ability to foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven performance within the team.
  • Proven success collaborating with product & design teams to meet shared goals and deadlines.

  • Adaptability and Resilience: The ability to quickly adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs, maintaining focus and effectiveness in a dynamic environment.

Starting Pay Range

$165,000—$210,000 USD

Salary & Requirements

STARTING PAY RANGE

$165,000—$210,000 USD
