Ecommerce Performance Manager - Remote


Job Brief:


Aisle3 is an industry-leading performance marketing agency that specializes in growing DTC brands on Amazon, Walmart and other online marketplaces. We spend our days strategizing with founders, CEOs, CMOs and other incredibly talented people to help them scale their online businesses and tackle the everyday challenges of ecommerce today. We are looking for a full-time Ecommerce Performance Manager to join our growing team and become an integral part of their success.


As the Ecommerce Performance Manager you will be responsible for the success of your portfolio of clients, and mentoring peformance coordinators and associate managers. Your goal is to ensure your work, which will consist primarily of performance marketing, inventory forecasting, client services and strategic analytics, is executed properly and supports strong performance and a healthy relationship with our clients. You will also be expected to create value for Aisle3 by contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing through training and mentoring, and supporting company growth by assisting with prospecting efforts.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage the creation of PPC campaigns ensuring campaigns are built to spec, launched in a timely fashion, continually improving and evolving, while driving strong performance.
  • Execute effective optimizations as scheduled, logging them in an optimization log. Manage client’s spend to budget and track/forecast against goals.
  • Manage the creation and upload of bi-weekly performance reports, QAing for data integrity issues, quality of insights and takeaways, and effectiveness of the reports in maintaining a beneficial relationship with our clients while moving projects forward.
  • Manage and QA the creation of inventory recommendations and management across clients, ensuring inventory never inhibits sales nor contributes to low margin through inefficient management.
  • Manage deadlines and client communication, both verbally over calls and in writing.
  • Work with your team on the development of strategic plans of action and present those to clients. Work with your team throughout these sprints to ensure all deliverables are completed on time.
  • Lead the analysis of large data sets and the development of custom modes/algorithms to uncover trends, patterns, and insights into customer business data.
  • Evaluate and improve on current practices, automate common processes, and take the initiative to build new processes where necessary.
  • Mentor the other members of the Performance team to elevate their work and overall ecommerce / business IQs so that you can focus on big picture strategic initiatives.
  • Think about the trends of ecommerce and ensure Aisle3 and our clients are benefiting from being at the forefront of those trends through test & learn strategies, early adoption of beta offerings, platform flexibility, successful launches, new product ideas, new platform onboarding, etc.
  • Work with our sales teams to assist in prospecting efforts through participation in pitch calls, creation of audits, case studies and other prospecting documents, while contributing to and managing content creation for Ailse3 marketing.
  • Contribute to a culture of curiosity and a team of experts through the following tools and projects: training documentation, personal training, bi-weekly company knowledge sharing, etc.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Expert in Excel
  • 2 - 5 years experience in ecommerce or other digital marketing positions
  • 2+ years Experience working directly with Amazon or in Vendor or Seller Centra
  • Strong leadership, ability to train and elevate teams and a proven track record of successful management experience
  • Strong client services skills and the ability to foster positive, lasting client relationships even amidst conditions of difficulty
  • Ability to project manage deadlines across a variety of clients and team members reporting into you
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to collect, analyze, and present large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy


  • Expertise in digital marketing, ecommerce, CPG, content marketing, and data analytics
  • Experience with Search, Social or other self-service ad platforms required
  • Experience with inventory management and logistics a major plus
