Job Title: PeopleSoft Technical Developer

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement customizations and enhancements in PeopleSoft applications.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain application interfaces, reports, and workflows.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in PeopleSoft applications.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within PeopleSoft applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for all customizations and configurations.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest PeopleSoft technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Technical Developer.
  • Proficiency with PeopleTools 8.49 or higher.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HR & HCM 9 or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, and Application Packages.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and Change Assistant tools.
  • Experience in relational databases (e.g., Oracle 10g or higher) and SQL.
  • Experience with Unix/Solaris/Linux environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
