Job Title: PeopleSoft Functional Payroll Expert with Strong Absence Management (Offshore)

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Functional Payroll Expert with a strong background in Absence Management to join our offshore team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Payroll and demonstrate expertise in configuring, implementing, and supporting Payroll and Absence Management modules. This position requires a deep understanding of Payroll processing, compliance, and Absence tracking, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• PeopleSoft Payroll Configuration and Implementation:
• Configure and implement PeopleSoft Payroll modules to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business needs.
• Absence Management Expertise:
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Absence Management module.
• Design and implement Absence Management solutions that align with organizational policies.
• Payroll Processing and Compliance:
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay updated on payroll-related laws and regulations and implement necessary changes.
• System Integration:
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate PeopleSoft Payroll with other HR and finance systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as needed.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Develop and execute test plans for Payroll and Absence Management modules.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of the implemented solutions.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Payroll and Absence Management configurations.
• Train end-users and provide ongoing support.
• Issue Resolution:
• Investigate and resolve Payroll and Absence Management-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with global support teams to address user-reported problems.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations.
• Stay informed about PeopleSoft updates and recommend enhancements.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a PeopleSoft Functional Payroll Expert.
• Strong expertise in PeopleSoft Absence Management module.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance.
• Experience with global payroll implementations and offshore teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
