Job Summary
Peer mentoring is a process where two people of similar ages, experience levels, or both work together to help each other grow. The relationship is less formal than a traditional mentoring relationship, yet structured so that it's mutually beneficial. Both parties should feel like they are getting something out of it.
Duties & Responsibilities
If needed assist with basic administrative functions of an office. Filing, sorting, collating, maintaining records, light office duties and running errands. Mentors for the Jauli Peer Mentorship Program will guide first- and second-year students through their respective academic paths. By providing advice, leadership, and knowledge from their student perspective, mentors will help develop students of similar academic backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
You must be a third- or fourth-year student by September 2024.
You must be able to mentor one or more first-year or second-year students for Fall 2024.
You must complete and submit the Jauli Peer Mentor Program Application.
You must register for your training workshop.
