Peer Mediation Sponsor

Must have high school coaching/sponsor experience.

Qualifications: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to serve as a Peer Mediation sponsor. This extra-duty position requires availability after school and select weekends. The Peer Mediation sponsor is responsible for organizing activities to promote social skills, awareness and problem solving within the school community. This includes coordinating after school meetings, facilitating discussions, and providing guidance for peer mediation sessions in school. The sponsor will be responsible to train students, staff, and administrators in restorative practices and reconciliation of individuals or groups after verbal and/or behavioral infractions. The sponsor should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages dialogue, reconciliation, and respect for all.
