Job Description:
As a PCBA Test Technician based in San Diego, CA, you will be responsible for testing, tuning, and troubleshooting PCBAs. This will include the use of Digital Multi-meter, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter, Oscilloscopes and other test equipment.
The ideal candidate should have a fundamental technical background in electronics, be able to work as part of a team, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Job Duties:
Maintain test equipment, test station, and tools
Maintain and update reports, spreadsheets, and databases for Quality Records, First Pass Yield, Rework, and Repair
Manage the inventory of the product and material
Using Computer for Automated Test Stations, email, ERP system, and spreadsheet updates
Conducts functional electrical testing on a variety of printed circuit board assemblies
Ability to read electrical schematics
Performs component level rework as necessary
Familiar with IPC-610 guidelines (SMT and Thru-hole)
Other duties as assigned
Qualification & Skills:
Working knowledge of electronic test equipment (DVM, Function generator, Oscilloscope, standard test equipment)
Ability to follow written test procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Proficiency reading Schematics, Drawings, and Bill of Materials
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and OneNote
Experience of working under microscope.
Attention to detail mentality and appreciation of project deadlines is essential.
Self-motivated and ready to adapt to the pace of fast-growing production lines
Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination to operate small equipment or tools safely
Education and Experience:
Associate degree or higher in Electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience in the electronic industry
5+ years of experience with PCBA testing and troubleshooting preferred
Experience in RF and analog circuitry strongly preferred
Hands on experience with soldering
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform bench work (seated and standing) of a repetitive nature
Applicants must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background screening

Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and storing supplies and materials throughout the day could be typical of this position. Work Environment:
The environment is typically clean and free from dust and hazardous materials. Some operations will be completed both indoors and outdoors where required.
