Responsibilities
Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax returns on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Ensure timely remittance of payroll tax payments to tax authorities.
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws and regulations.
Perform reconciliations of payroll tax accounts and make necessary General Ledger entries.
Address inquiries from regulatory agencies and respond to tax-related questions.
Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School diploma required; additional education preferred.
2-4 years of experience in multi-state payroll processing.
Proficiency in preparing and filing payroll tax returns.
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build strong relationships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with the capability to work independently or within a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Compensation And Benefits
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $22.00 to $29.09 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.
