Payroll Specialist

Top tier investment management firm in midtown Manhattan seeks a Payroll Specialist.

This position is in office 4 days per week with Fridays remote.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the full life cycle of activities related to the payroll process, including reviewing time data, auditing payroll registers, and completing sign-off process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate records of employee information, including pay rates, deductions, and timesheets.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide timely resolution.
• Prepare and file payroll-related reports as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other Human Capital team members to ensure seamless integration of payroll with other systems.
• Continuously review and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate payroll-related tax registrations, filings, and reporting across all applicable states and localities.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance.

1-3 years of experience in a payroll position
