Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll specialist, with strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now. Multi-state and multi-entity experience are required. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are an expert multi-tasker that doesn’t get frazzled easily, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Process semi-monthly payroll for hourly, non-exempt and exempt employees and contractors in accordance with government regulations
- Communicate with physician partners, practice managers, and employees to respond to inquiries and resolve payroll issues.
- Enter/audit employee payroll changes (i.e. tax withholding, direct deposit, benefits).
- Assist with setup of employee 401(k) plans, managing employee contributions with multiple carriers
- Assist in payroll reports preparation for audits, year-end processes, and upon managers’ requests.
- Work closely with payroll, HR, and accounting departments regarding employee and/or policy changes affecting payroll.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee pay and personal information.
- Work on special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with multi-state payroll.
- Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, ADP iReports, ADP Smart Compliance.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, primarily Excel).
- Familiarity with payroll taxes, benefits, wage & hour laws.
- Experience with traditional and Roth 401(k) plans.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail while maintaining multiple duties and projects.
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- High level of critical thinking skills.

- Bachelor's (Preferred)
