Payroll Coordinator (Part-Time)

The Payroll Coordinator performs a full range of record keeping, maintenance and payroll processing activities for multi-state payroll. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in all payroll-related matters. Provide strong detail-oriented and organized skills while processing payroll accurately and timely.

Essential Functions And Key Responsibilities

  • Supports accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing:
    • Perform data entry and reconciling timecards.
    • Calculate and process payroll deductions, taxes and adjustments.
    • Calculate and audit retroactive payroll calculations
    • Compute wages, retro and overtime payments.
    • Maintain and audit Workday timekeeping records, communicating with supervisors and employees
  • Process requests for manual checks including termination checks.
  • Assist with internal and external payroll audits as needed.
  • Update and maintain payroll process documentation
  • Provide regular and adhoc comprehensive payroll reports for payroll team, management and finance.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and ensure compliance.
  • Safeguard confidentiality of employee payroll information.
  • Performs other related responsibilities as required
Knowledge And Skills Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll coordination or a similar role.
  • Multi-state payroll experience a plus.
  • Exposure to internal and external audits.
  • Understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate the demands of the position.

Education, Work Experience, And Professional Certifications

  • 2+ years payroll experience
  • Workday and ADP experience a plus.
  • High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in an office environment.
  • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
  • Required to sit and stand, bend and reach.
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.

TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected base pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00 per hour. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
