The Coordinator, Payroll works directly with the senior payroll analyst to assist with the processing of standard payroll related activities and processes. Including accurately processing employee payments, maintaining payroll records, calculating wages and deductions, assisting in resolving discrepancies, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing support to employees, and generating reports.




  • What You’ll Do




  • Payroll Support

    • Assist with the accurate processing of the bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls for US entities.
    • Ensure time and absence approvals are received before processing payroll.
    • Assist with standard payroll validations to ensure data integrity.
    • Assist with the resolution of payroll errors and issues during each payroll cycle.
    • Coordinate the processing of garnishments, pay levies, and other involuntary court-ordered payments on time.
    • Document processes where appropriate.
    • Assist with audits, including but not limited to financial statement audits and annual 401(k) audits.


    Payroll Customer Support

    • Work with managers and employees regarding payroll-related questions and ensure all inquiries are handled efficiently and within company guidelines.
    • Partner with HR operations on employee lifecycle changes that impact payroll.
    • Coordinate efforts between, payroll and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.



  • About Our Ideal Candidate




  • Education

    • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (Preferred)


    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years in payroll processing.


    Software/Technical Skills

    • Understanding of Federal and State Payroll regulations.


    Other Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

    • Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of payroll data and systems.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
    • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
    • Team player with positive attitude.



  • Additional Details For This Role




  • This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers.

    • The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
    • Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data.
