You will...
Manage payroll processing: Oversee bi-weekly payroll cycles for North America (US and Canada), ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately.
Financial summaries: Compile clear and concise summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
Conduct audits: Manage various audits, including IRS, DOL, 401(k) plan, and internal audits. Perform quarterly 940/941 audits and prepare essential government filings.
Open Enrollment: Take charge of the Annual Open Enrollment process, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone.
HRIS accuracy: Regularly review HRIS info in ADP to ensure 100% accuracy for new hires, terminations, and promotions.
Resolve payroll issues: Address any payroll issues promptly to build trust and keep our employees satisfied.
Execute procedures: Ensure precise execution of payroll and benefits procedures for clarity and efficiency.
Vendor partnerships: Partner with benefit brokers and vendors to review programs, ensuring compliance and maintaining a competitive edge.
You have...
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll management, preferably with multi-state payroll processing. Big plus if you have worked with a Canadian team.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with payroll software (we use ADP) and HRIS systems.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and build positive relationships with employees and external partners.
Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
Certification: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is preferred.
