Human Touch Home Health Care is seek a Payroll and Benefit Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and benefits. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of payroll regulations and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
  • Coordinate open enrollment periods and communicate benefit options to employees
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS system
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve benefit-related issues and ensure accurate billing
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements to benefit programs
  • Assist employees with benefit inquiries and provide guidance on plan options
  • Prepare reports and analyze data related to employee benefits utilization and costs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding employee benefits

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts related to employee benefits
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with journal entries, corporate accounting, technical accounting, payroll, and double-entry bookkeeping principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or related role
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:Monday-Friday8-hour shift

Work Location: In Person, Office setting (Required)
