Payment Specialist

My firm is working with a growing Fintech company who is looking to add headcount to the Payment Operations team. The payment platform will improve customer experiences as well as company profitability. The ACH Operations Specialist will have a deep working knowledge of the NACHA Operating Rules, thorough understanding of the ACH origination lifecycle and its key players, familiarity with Regulation E, and best practices of. This role will service the ACH lifecycle o clients including performing timely ACH origination services, investigation of received ACH returns and proof of authorization requests, and serve as a liaison with clientele ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role:

• Handling Automated Clearing House (ACH) origination and receipt process, facilitating the transmission of files from clients and ACH vendors
• Routinely exercising knowledge of ACH and ACH system(s), ACH regulations, and ACH process flows
• Ensuring that these processes and files comply with NACHA and other related regulations
• Processing of Incoming and Outgoing ACH files
• Processing of return and notification of change (NOC) files received from banking vendors

Experience and Requirements:

• At least 18 months of ACH experience
• THIS ROLE IS ONSITE DAILY!
