Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pattern Maker at GURU KNITS, INC. located in Los Angeles, CA. The Pattern Maker will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of fitting, pattern design, sewing, pattern making, and computer-aided design (CAD).

Qualifications

1.      Fitting, Pattern Design, and Pattern Making skills

2.      MUST be able to create patterns from spec

3.      Experience with Gerber version 10

4.      Assist production team with measuring

5.      Knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques

6.      Strong attention to detail and precision

7.      Ability to interpret and create patterns from design sketches

8.      Experience with pattern grading and alterations

9.      Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for pattern making

10.  Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

11.  Ability to work well in a team

12.  Experience in the fashion industry is a plus

13.  Sewing and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills is a plus

14.  Technical degree or certification in pattern making or related field is preferred
