  • Perform required operations or otherwise modify or repair broken or worn wood, metal and plastic patterns, core boxes of moderate complexity
  • Work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications and/or verbal or written instructions to complete projects under limited supervision
  • Select materials, lay out, cut, form, fit and assemble parts as required
  • Use measuring instruments and machines incidental to operations
  • Maintain the pattern shop in a clean and orderly manner
  • Pay starting at $14 to $15/hour

Requirements of the position are as follows:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Understanding of and ability to read shop orders required
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment
