Patient Navigator
The Patient Navigator identifies and refers the patient to resources that support physical, psychological, and social needs throughout the cancer care continuum. The Patient Navigator serves as the liaison between the patient and the various healthcare providers and programs required for proper diagnosis, treatment and surveillance of the disease. The Patient Navigator obtains needed services within the multidisciplinary clinical community and ensures timely access to these services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in life science/healthcare field
- Licensed RN with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is acceptable as alternative to Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in life science/healthcare field
- Two years of experience in a health care organization
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in life sciences or healthcare
- Oncology Experience
- Spanish Speaking
