Immediate opening for a Patient Advocate Associate, Customer Service with a biopharmaceutical company in Carlsbad, CA who possesses:
- 1+ year of call center or customer service environment experience(high volume of calls 50+) preferred with HIPPA or medical industry
- Strong communication skills spoken and written - must be fluent in Spanish
- Well organized with ability to prioritize, schedule follow ups and see things through from start to finish
FULL DESCRIPTION: Answer incoming calls and place outbound calls to patients and doctor's offices, answer inquiries and questions, handle health insurance information, provide information, create leads, and book appointments with doctor offices.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Answer calls and respond to emails
- Handle customer inquiries both telephonically and by email. Research required information using available resources
- Manage and resolve patients' inquiries
- Provide customers with therapy and service information. Update existing patients' data
- Identify and escalate issues
- Route calls to appropriate resources when applicable. Follow-up patient calls
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures. Create leads, book appointments
- High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in relevant computer applications Required language proficiency
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Knowledge of call center telephony and technology
- Experience in a call center or customer service environment
- Good data entry and typing skills
- Knowledge of administration and clerical processes
