Rural Psychiatry Associates is currently recruiting for a Patient Access Coordinator to join our team. Rural Psychiatry Associates provides mental health care, in person and through the use of telemedicine, to patients of all ages through hospitals, clinics, schools and senior living facilities throughout North Dakota, Minnesota, Utah and Alaska. Rural Psychiatry Associates is currently recruiting a Patient Access Coordinator to join our team in our Minot office.

The Patient Access Coordinator will be responsible for a number of clerical tasks including, but not limited to the following:

  • Utilize a multi-phone line system to answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to appropriate staff or department;
  • Make appointment reminder calls and reschedule appointments as needed;
  • Utilize internal email and voicemail in order to relay messages to appropriate staff;
  • Greet patients, visitors, vendors, mail carriers, delivery personnel, etc. in a prompt, friendly manner;
  • Inquire about customer's needs, provide information and guidance as needed, and direct concerns appropriately;
  • Distribute patient satisfaction surveys to patients;
  • Distribute employment applications to prospective applicants;
  • Schedule appointments for patients and vendors using AdvancedMD database;
  • Print daily schedules and fee sheets;
  • Create and revise print materials (policies, forms, materials, etc.) as needed;
  • Compose letters and email from dictated messages as requested;
  • Complete mass mailings;
  • Prepare and distribute reports as requested
  • Contact various vendors/merchants as requested for business needs;
  • Assists with the coordination of the clinic's provider schedule;
  • All other related duties as assigned.

The Patient Access Coordinator must be proficient with the use of computers and various office equipment.

Candidate must be a high school graduate or the equivalent;

Travel to other Rural Psychiatry Associates clinic sites will be required in a rotation.
