In the Pastry Cook role, you will carry out the operational directives of the sous chefs and headchef. You must use appropriate tools and ingredients to prepare meals while maintainingcleanliness in your workstation. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the use of available
ingredients and kitchen equipment to prepare high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities
Cook menu items assigned to station
Pay attention to special requests and dietary restrictions
Ensure dishes meet quality standards and adhere to recipes
Assists sous chefs and head chef in the kitchen
Disposes spoiled food and other waste material
Maintains cleanliness and ensures that the kitchen is compliant with health and safetyregulations
Reports any issues with kitchen equipment to management
Qualifications
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
Ability to execute assigned tasks with precision and speed in a fast-paced, high-stressenvironment
Effective communication skills
Handling multiple tasks efficiently in a high pressure environment
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work station
