SUMMARY:
The Parts Business Manager is directly responsible for the success of parts sales for all products. The Parts Business Manager is the business process owner for the overall Opportunity to Cash process for replacement parts. The Parts Business Manager will have overall responsibility for the sales, marketing, and fulfillment of spare parts orders. The Parts Business Manager will participate in the definition and creation of spare part products in conjunction with the product line owners.

The Parts Business Manager will participate in the definition and creation of spare part products in conjunction with the product line owners.
The Parts Business Manager Is Responsible For
- the achievement of spare parts revenue and profitability performance vs budget.
- the business process performance associated with spare parts (OTD and quality) vs targets
- the improvement of business processes associated with replacement parts
- A professional who demonstrates a "take charge" spirit; moves others to action by planning, motivating, organizing, and controlling work being done
- Manages operational and fiscal activities related to the parts business including staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals for the parts business
- Plans and develops systems and procedures to improve the processes, quality and efficiency of operations associated with parts sales and fulfillment
- Develop dashboards to monitor and health and growth of the parts business
- Utilizes existing and develops new high-level contacts at customer accounts for parts sales
- Manages and coordinates development of parts-specific marketing and sales collateral.
- Supports field sales when appropriate, in calling on key decision makers at identified and prospective accounts, to overcome spares-related obstacles to sales, and coordinate company resources to address parts-related customer concerns.
- Through effective communication skills, presents ideas and information in a way that creates a climate in which others are informed and want to participate in driving organizational changes and priorities.
- Performs all normal supervisory functions, to include hiring, training, appraisal, counseling, and discipline for those assigned to the parts team
- Other duties as assigned

- Positions which report directly to this one: Parts Sales Manager, Parts Operations Coordinators, Parts Business Analyst.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience.
- MBA is highly desirable
- Three or more years experience in parts fulfillment. Semiconductor industry experience preferred.
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience required
- Significant business analysis skills and strong focus on customer and quality required
- Valid Driver’s License, Passport and attain credit card for travel purposes
- A good balance of risk taking and judgment, confidence, and assertiveness, open-minded and flexible
- Ability to communicate effectively inter-departmentally and externally with customers, and other contacts such as vendors
- Ability to compile and present financial material to internal groups including high level management teams
- Ability to travel extensively (approx. 40% - 50%) as required to support spares sales activities for new or prospective business, as well as trade shows, industry meetings, etc.
- Demonstrated high ethical and moral behavior, unquestionable integrity, and character
- Able to lead and guide a team through business solutions
- Has talent to build and maintain relationships, both internally with team members and Senior Management, as well as externally with customers and other functional leaders.
- Professional attitude and strong leadership skills
- Excellent communications and influencing skills
- The normal work environment is typical of a manufacturing-machine shop.
- The incumbent is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, touch, see, and hear, and may be required to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- While performing the regular duties of the position, the incumbent is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and possible risk of electrical shock.
- The incumbent must be able to wear safety equipment and follow safety instructions.
